BBO Crystal

BBO crystal has large birefringence over the brad transparent range from 189-3500nm, the high damage threshold and stable physical, chemical properties. So it is an excellent crystal to replace Calcite, TiO₂, and LiNbO₃, etc. in Glan prisms and displacers for high power and UV wavelength applications.
